DJ Zraa

DJ Zraa, Underground Queen, an Iraqi-Montrealer living in Ottawa, strives to bring her scene to the dance floor. With her love of bohemian acoustics, mixed with her diasporic influences, she’s known to deliver punchy beats, and soulful rhythms in each set. Zraa’s goal is to create a local Ottawa community where diverse queer individuals can come together, connect, and grow collectively through music. Since her appearance on the decks, her musical direction has led her to work with Laylit, and Queen & Queer, both wonderful teams contributing towards representing 2SLGBTQI+ and BIPOC communities. Off the decks, she says “I love my downtime with a book, cuddled with my dog and cat, and bokhooor/ incense of course”.

Osita
